Tomi is a first-year student at Chatham University's Bachelor of Interior Architecture and is using the scholarship to support her education. 

After receiving the Spring 2023 award, Tomi responded: "I am grateful to be a recipient of the MAPS scholarship as it means an opportunity for advancement, both on a personal scale and a professional one. This award not only provides some financial relief in my pursuit of an education in the architecture field, but also represents a welcoming of diversity in the field."
